YOUTH VOLUNTEER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Farm Camp is focused on fun, nature based, experiential education in a safe and wholesome environment. The goal of our Youth Mentorship Program is to help responsible and eager youth gain confidence working with children one-on-one and in a group setting. Teens will learn about: keeping children engaged in activities and learning some tips and tricks for general group management, holding strong but gentle boundaries, gentle one-on-one discipline, as well as, handling discipline in a group setting. They will also get the opportunity to learn about farm, garden, plants, animals, crafts and connecting with nature, as they assist campers in these activities. This is a great opportunity for Youth Volunteer to work in collaboration with professional educators, gain experience to add to a resume, and work in a fun, nurturing outdoor environment.
Upon completion, Youth Volunteer will have work experience to add to resume, as well as, receive formal feedback with certificate of completion.
